We offer High Holy Day services for adults and families in our main sanctuary. We also provide three other sets of age-appropriate children’s services (nursery school, kindergarten through third grade, and fourth grade and above) at venues within and near the Temple campus. Second-day Rosh Hashanah services and Tashlich are held at our Irmas Campus and at the outdoor chapel at our camps in Malibu.
Join the congregation in Kabbalat Shabbat, the Friday evening service that welcomes Shabbat with prayer, song and reflection. Services begin at the Temple Campus and at the Irmas Campus throughout the year.
Soul Sounds Shabbat has been a smashing success from its inception in 2004. Employing a new approach to the worship experience, Soul Sounds opens participatory opportunities for contemporary worshippers through musical presentation and congregational singing. Keyboard, percussion, electric guitars ,violin and cello fill the chapel with a rich, vibrant resonance—all blending with Cantor Gurney to create what is now the Soul Sounds trademark. This is a worship experience for all ages.
Join in congregational worship at either the Temple or Irmas campus each and every Saturday morning. Celebrate with Bar and Bat Mitzvah students chanting Torah. Rabbis and Cantors enhance the morning through prayer, study and song. Shacharit begins at 10:30 a.m. The Kaddish list will be read aloud.
